06-01-08 I just opened a LOTR web directory, Arda Marred Listings. This site is listed there now. Please check it out! Also, I'm planning on re-designing this site. It will probably be a complete re-design, but I'm not sure when I'll be able to do it.
05-30-07 Updated the affiliates list. Namely, I changed a link and deleted two other links. I also got rid of the tag board because it had nothing but spam in it. I'm thinking I may try to resurrect this site, but I'm not sure. After all, it just had its fourth birthday a couple of weeks ago...
01-22-07 I added a pro-life weband (courtesy AllAnne.com) to this site, as well as all of my other site. It seemed appropriate today, considering what what day it is..
08-09-05 I'm putting the site in hiatus. I don't know if it will be permamnent, or if Meril will come back. I may even close the site altogether, I don't know. Any way, there won't be any updates for at least a month. Oh, and the challenge has been taken down.

05-17-05 Today is Meril's second birthday! I can't believe this site has been open for so long! In honor of the occasion, I have a rather large update. Firstly, Meril is now skinable! And there is a new skin, featung Rose at the Green Dragon Inn. There are also three new wallpapers, all made by Ariah, and four new fan fics, all by Rosa Cotton. Enjoy! =D

05-10-05 New fan fic, Master Gamgee of Bag End by Marta. Marta gave me a bunch of recommendations of Sam/Rosie fan fic, so I hope to have more posted soon. I have a few more stories to post, along with some wallpapers, so those should be up soon. I also want to do something to celebrate Meril's second birthday next week. =)
05-03-05 Finally started to take some of the advice Zimrahil gave me in her review of Meril. I separated each indivual update, and I changed the little header thing at the top to work with each page. Oh, and I also took down the link for the guestbook from the main navigation and put it under the site section. I'll work on some more changes later. =)
04-26-05 Sorry for disappearing for a while there. I was having trouble switching servers for my domain. Anyways, a new blend in Art, and two new LJ icons, all made by me.

03-13-05 I've decided to put Meril in semi-hiatus. As some of you probably know, I've only been able to get on the internet on Sundays since early February. It's too difficult to try to update every week, when I only have one day to do anything. So until the end of March, I'll only update if someone sends me something (affiliate request, donation, etc).

02-02-05 OK, the challenge has been judged, the winners posted, and a new challenge up. I will be sending the winners their awards soon. The entries have been posted in either the fan art section or the wallpaper section (one of the entries was a wallpaper).

12-31-04 Three new LJ icons and an entry in the Challenge. Since only one person has entered, I decided to extend the Challenge. Happy New Year!
12-20-04 Just a few little changes around the site: the Rose and Sarah pages are now under Info, along with Quote, Timeline, and the Family Tree. Fan Art, Wallpapers, and LJ Icons are now under Fans. Also, the content area is much bigger now. Merry Christmas! =)
12-09-04 Meril was review at Possibility. You can read the review here. I'm going to use a lot of Zimrahil's suggestions, so I'll be working on that for a while. =) Also, I added a section where you can read reviews for Meril in the site section.
12-06-04 Finally capped the last scene of ROTK, so fourteen new pics in the gallery. There may be some more scenes with Rosie in the EE (although I doubt it -- Figwit had more lines than she did), and if there are I will cap those sometime this month. Still need entries for the Challenge
11-30-04 Meril will now be holding a challenge every month. This month it's a Blend challenge. Please enter! I also noticed that the form hasn't been working -- I fixed that.

11-14-04 My apologies for the long hiatus. I've gone through the site and updated a lot of things. Obviously, I made a new layout. I converted the site to PHP, updated all the links, and I also added a few LJ icons. I also got rid of all the pics in the gallery (except one) and replaced them with screen caps of my own. I forgot to cap the last scene when Sam comes home to Rose and Elanor, but I can do that later. From now on I'm going to try very hard to update once a week. =)
